Q: I have (a virus, spyware, pop-ups)! What should I do?

^{A: Do not panic! Send me an e-mail or call me with as much detail as humanly possible. I handle each case differently, depending on the issue at hand. We will work on a solution based on several factors. See our "Services Provided" page for more help.}

Q: I live in (Amityville, Port Jeff, Manorville, Old Great Neck, Queens, The Bronx). Will you be able to provide service in my area?

^{A: We are based in Stony Brook, NY. I will make an attempt to get to you anywhere in Suffolk County. I do have a few clients in Nassau County, however, it is extremely difficult, at this time, to provide timely service out of my local area. We will work with you if at all possible.}

Q: My son/ daughter has a project due tomorrow morning! My computer will not boot up! What should I do?

The most important factor here is BACKUPS! You must backup your important data - bottom line. Any important data (Word docs, pictures, music, home videos, etc) should be backed up immediately after creation. In the event of a failure (computers crash, hard drives fail, Windows becomes unstable, etc), you will have your backup copy, preferably on a CD/DVD, thumb drive, or external hard drive. These hold the most data, are very convenient, and reliable. Floppy disk is OUT! In a pinch you could use your floppy drive, but I do not recommend it. They are considered old school dinosaurs now =)

^{With a good backup, your PC can normally be restored to factory settings (worse case), and all your data can be restored in no time! Also, in an emergency situation, your backup may be used on another PC and you can get that project finished in no time flat!}

Q: My PC is running slow! Any suggestions?

^{A: You can view the "Services Provided" page. Towards the bottom of the page you will see all types of great things! I have links to programs such as free anti virus, free anti spyware, and even a free firewall! Plus there are a few documents that may help you on your quest for a "speedy PC"! Q: You worked on my PC/ laptop XX months ago, and now it's acting up. My kids need to download music, videos, and games. What can you do for me?

^{A: If you provide enough details, I will try to do the best I can to help you out. I will not "throw you to the wolves" so to speak. Keep in mind, most issues today are brought about by the casual computer user. If a reasonable amount of time has passed, chances are that your PC has become infected with a virus or, most likely, spyware. I cannot be held responible for these issues, but I will, however, help you clean the infection out. You will be back up in no time!}
